Dylan Dean Troxel

DYLAN DEAN TROXEL, 26, of Thornton, Colorado passed away on May 27th, 2020. He was born to Tracy and Angie (Jaramillo) Troxel September 14th, 1993 in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. Dylan Graduated from Cherry Creek High School in Greenwood Village, Colorado in 2013. Dylan was an essential employee that worked with the public in the oil and gas industry. Dylan loved skateboarding, starting at a young age, then moved onto BMX bikes. He treasured his electric scooters and bikes. He also loved to play baseball, basketball, and go fishing. He liked to listen to rap music. He loved all of his family, including his beloved pets, Penelope, Luna, and Buster. He thought of himself as a cat whisperer, and we agree.
Growing up he lived in North Carolina, Nebraska, and Colorado. Dylan was loving, generous, thoughtful, caring, and kind. He was very protective of his family. He never met a stranger. Dylan will be profoundly missed by everyone who loved him. There will be a private celebration of life with the family in Gering, Nebraska.
Dylan is survived by his parents Tracy and Angie (Jaramillo) Troxel, Sisters Liana (Josh) Magdaleno, and Symone Troxel. Niece Angel Lilly Jaramillo. Grandparents Ernie and Anne Jaramillo, Aunt Dianna (Troxel) Furrey, Uncle Tom (Jennifer) Troxel, Uncles Ernie Jaramillo Jr., Frankie (Rory) Jaramillo, Robbie Jaramillo, and Danny (Cherie) Jaramillo. Great Aunts Lu Jaramillo, Anna (Robert) Salines, Estella Jaramillo, Florence Gonzales, Cookie (Quentin) Sutherland, and Cheekie Rojas, and Great Uncle Eloy Jaramillo. Cousins Corey (Ariana) Chrisman, Shad Higgins, Misty Higgins, Raymond Furrey, Taylor Troxel, Joey Taylor, Isaiah (Mikayla) Jaramillo, Kayla Jaramillo, Jesse Jaramillo, Brandelynn Mendoza, Brittany Nunez, Alexis Jaramillo, and Zane Jaramillo. Preceded in death by Grandparents Tom and Velma Troxel, Aunt Bonnie Chrisman, and Uncle Ken Furrey.
