Ed Durham died April 15, 2010. Born in Lexington, Mississippi, moved to Oklahoma in 1929. Before Joining the Army, Ed worked on the construction of B29 Bombers in Wichita. A Combat Infantryman, PFC, he received the Bronze star in WWII. After the war he received Industrial Arts training at Oklahoma A & M College and became a brick mason and contractor. He first worked building dorms and on the library at OAMC. He built many homes including his own homes in Oklahoma and Colorado. After his building career, be became a salesman for Silper-Har in Colorado. He enjoyed singing and playing the guitar at church. He also loved painting, swimming, gardening, and dancing. He has two children, Ginger Lynd and Edwin Bert Durham, and two grandchildren. He was known for his acts of kindness and charity.

Funeral Service on Wednesday, April 21, 2010 at 10:30 am at Newcomer Funeral Home-West Metro Chapel, 901 S. Sheridan Blvd., Lakewood, CO 80226. Followed by committal service at Fort Logan National Cemetery, Staging Area "A", 3698 S. Sheridan Blvd., Denver, CO 80235.
