Edna E. Leach
Edna was born on February 27, 1920, to Martin and Ida (Lange) Boldenow, in Bloomfield, Nebraska. She passed from this life into life eternal on January 25, 2007. She was baptized on March 21, 1920 and confirmed her baptismal vows on April 9, 1933, at First Trinity Lutheran Church, Bloomfield, Nebraska.
Edna was educated in the Bloomfield school system. She worked for the local creamery and as a receptionist for the local doctor. She moved to Arvada, CO, in 1959, after the death of her mother.
She transferred her church membership from First Trinity Lutheran Church in Bloomfield, to Peace Lutheran Church, in Arvada, in 1960.
She married Arthur Leach on February 20, 1967. He died shortly after their marriage.
Edna worked at the Adolph Coors Company in the accounting department for 23 years.
Edna was active in the ministries of Peace Lutheran Church as a member of the Women's Guild, Library Circle, Peace Quilt Artists and choir. She was also an Offering Counter and Sunday School Teacher.
She is preceded in death by her husband, father and mother, 7 sisters, and 4 brothers. She is survived by 1 brother, Gerald Boldenow. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Viewing 2-6 pm on Sunday January 28th at Newcomer Family West Chapel. Memorial Services 11 AM on Monday January 29th at Peace Lutheran Church, 5675 Field Street in Arvada . Following the service there will be a luncheon in the parish hall. Burial 10:30 AM Wednesday January 31st Ft. Logan National Cemetery Area B. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Peace Lutheran Library, 5675 Field Street, Arvada, CO 80002.
