Eduardo Medina

Eduardo "Eddy" Medina, 30, of Aurora Colorado passed away on June 26th, 2023 during his sleep.

Eddy was born on August 7th, 1992 to Leticia and Norberto Medina. He graduated from John F. Kennedy High school in May of 2010. After graduating high school, Eddy started to dedicate himself to working and providing for his son, Dante, whom he welcomed into the world in November of 2011. Those of us who knew Eddy, knew he loved basketball. Both playing and watching on TV. He was able to see the Nuggets actually get their first NBA Title.

Although Eddy may have had his demons he was fighting, he never chose to speak to anyone about them, but rather spread happiness and joy to others and help lift them back up onto their feet. Eddy loved to spend time with his family, his son, and his cousins who were also like his additional brothers. He always chose to smile and laugh in front of everyone, and both his smile and laugh were infectious. Eddy would never fail to make others feel warm, welcome, happy, and loved.

While he may be gone from us physically, his laugh, smile, love, and spirit will live on with all of us forever and get us through tough times just like he would when he was here.

Eduardo "Eddy" Medina, de 30 años, de Aurora Colorado falleció el 26 de junio de 2023 mientras dormía.

Eddy nació el 7 de agosto de 1992 de Leticia y Norberto Medina. Se graduó de la escuela secundaria John F. Kennedy en mayo de 2010. Después de graduarse de la escuela secundaria, Eddy comenzó a dedicarse a trabajar y mantener a su hijo Dante, a quien dio la bienvenida al mundo en noviembre de 2011. Quienes sabíamos Eddy, sabía que amaba el baloncesto. Tanto jugando como viendo la televisión. Pudo ver a los Nuggets obtener su primer título de la NBA.

Aunque Eddy pudo haber tenido sus demonios contra los que estaba luchando, nunca eligió hablar con nadie sobre ellos, sino más bien contagiar felicidad y alegría a los demás y ayudarlos a levantarse nuevamente. A Eddy le encantaba pasar tiempo con su familia, su hijo y sus primos que también eran como sus hermanos adicionales. Siempre eligió sonreír y reír frente a todos, y tanto su sonrisa como su risa eran contagiosas. Eddy nunca dejaría de hacer que los demás se sintieran cálidos, bienvenidos, felices y amados.

Si bien es posible que se haya ido de nosotros físicamente, su risa, su sonrisa, su amor y su espíritu vivirán con todos nosotros para siempre y nos ayudarán a superar los momentos difíciles como lo haría cuando estuvo aquí.
