Edward Lee Webb

November 12, 1939 — August 15, 2023

Edward Lee "Bo" Webb, beloved husband, father, and grandpa passed away on Tuesday, August 15, 2023, with his family surrounding him with love. Bo was born on November 12,1939 in Fort Worth, Texas to Hallum "Boots" Webb and Alma Fay "Kate" Duke Webb.

Much of his childhood centered around ranch life in South Dakota. He was an excellent horseman going on cattle drives and auction sales with his father. He graduated from Sturgis High School in 1957 and went on to graduate from South Dakota School of Mines and Technology in 1961 as a geological engineer. Bo retired from the Bureau of Reclamation after thirty years of service and was known for his warm personality, and quick wit. Bo became fast friends with nearly everyone he met, and his stories and jokes will always be remembered.

After retirement, he spent a lot of his time reading beloved westerns, remodeling his home, teasing and bantering with his family, and traveling with his wife Lois seeing much of the world.

Bo is survived by his loving and devoted wife Lois, his precious children, Sherri (Doug) Liston, Jeffrey (Tiffany) Webb, Teresa Knaack, Jennifer (Todd) Valentine, Sandi Torok, seven grandchildren, Josh, Jessie, Jenny, Kenzie (Matt), Jackie, Ashley and Brody; one great-grandchild, Adryan, and his pup, Jack. He is preceded in death by his parents Boots and Kate, and his sister, Sue Blum.
