Edward (Ed) Moore Weston, of Denver, Colorado, died on Tuesday, October 4, 2022, at his place of residence that he shared with his beloved wife of 62 years. Edward was 83. Edward was born on June 24, 1939, in Denver, Colorado. He attended Barnum Elementary and Denver West High School. Edward met Imogene (Jean) May Hoschouer on March 3, 1959, on a blind date and he then married Imogene on July 1, 1960. Edward was in the Army and served two years at Fort Carson Army Base in Colorado Springs, Colorado. They lived in Manitou Springs while Edward was in the Army. After being honorably discharged from the Army, he and his beautiful wife moved back to Denver, where they purchased a house. Together they had three daughters, Debra Fay, Janet Kay, and Darlene Ann. Edward worked as a Heavy Equipment Operator for Olson Construction, Sturgeon Electric, and the City and County of Denver. He was known for being dedicated to the safety of the crew and himself before ever starting to dig a trench. Edward had a heart for helping family and friends when they needed something done. His family and friends will greatly miss Edward. Edward is survived by his wife Imogene, daughters Janet (husband Shawn) and Darlene (husband J.P.), grandchildren Megan (husband Jacob) and Kayla [Ace], and was preceded in death by his Dad Joeseph, Mom Dorothy, and oldest daughter Debbie. Public viewing with a funeral service to follow directly after has been organized by Newcomer and will be held in the West Chapel of Newcomer in Lakewood, Colorado, on October 29, 2022, starting at 11:00 am. The family will gather at 3:00 pm for a dutch treat reception at Looking Good Restaurant located at 66 Sheridan Boulevard.
