Elfriede Morehouse

Elefriede Morehouse was born in Obensein West Germany on 03/25/1944 in a bomb shelter during WWII allied air raids to Sigmund and Barbara Lang. She was the baby of six children. She married Jerry Morehouse on July 14, 1962, in Furth Nuremberg. She is survived by her husband Jerry Morehouse of 61 years of marriage and her four children, Shell Morehouse of Sinton Texas, James Morehouse of Aurora Colorado, Dorene Reese of Otis Colorado, and Donna McLaughlin of Parker Colorado, and her two older sisters, Krista and Gertrude. She had eleven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Elfriede was independent and strong-willed. She enjoyed camping and traveling with her husband and children. She loved to play bingo and go to Blackhawk and gamble. Elfriede taught herself to cook, sew, and knit. She preferred to dress in bright colors. In the last few years, she started streaking her hair purple or pink.
