Elizabeth Baleros "Liz" Green, 50, of Aurora, passed away September 10, 2020.
She was born January 24, 1970 in Bataan, Philippines, the daughter of Isabelo D. and Julita T. Baleros. She was a graduate of Limay High School in Bataan.
She was an Department Manager with Gart Sports, Sports Authority and later Kohl's Department Stores.
Elizabeth was a member of the Philippine Association Society of Colorado. She was also a parishioner at Queen of Peace Catholic Church.
Liz loved karaoke and to play Scrabble. Her favorite video game was Tetris. She was the consummate party planner and the life of the party. She will be remembered as the best cook. Liz was an extremely hard worker, having two jobs to provide for her family at all times. She was very caring, loving, friendly and was always happy, no matter the trials she was facing. Liz was an avid Broncos fan.
Liz is survived by her son, Eric (Juanteaha Cobb) Baleros; her life partner, LaVan "Jay" Jones; grandchildren, Christopher Janis, Jassani Baleros and Brianna Cobb; mother, Julita T. Baleros; siblings, Estrella B. Aucena "Diday", Rodante T. Baleros "Dan", Orlando T. Valeros "Orlan", Ricardo T. Valeros "Rico", Antonio T. Dela Cruz "Jun", Antonette D. Dacanay "Oning", Angelito T. Dela Cruz "Nino" and Teodora B. Vedana "Nene" and many nieces, nephews, extended family and a host of friends.
She is preceded in death by father, Isabelo D. Baleros.
