Elizabeth "Betty" Christensen
Passed away October 31st, 2004 at her home in Thornton, Colorado.
Memorial Services will be held at a later date in Colorado. Inurnment will be held at Garden of Memories in Waterloo, Iowa at a later date also.
Betty was born October 18th, 1921 in Kanawha, Iowa. She married Arnold Christensen on September 20th, 1941.
She loved music and as a young woman, participated and won many awards for her vocal singing in the Britt, Iowa area. She was also an accomplished pianist.
Betty and her husband Arnold lived in Waterloo, Iowa for 61 years, until they moved to Thornton, Colorado two years ago.
Betty is survived by her husband Arnold of Thornton, CO.
Her son Laurence (Marlys) Christensen of Milan, Illinois.
Her daughter Diane (Ron) Busse of Conifer, CO.
Grandchildren Terry Christensen of Milan, Illinois, Susan (John) Loster of Carol Stream, Illinois, Michelle (Kelly) Shader of Brighton, CO., Christin Busse of Littleton, CO.; eight great grandchildren.
