We regret to inform you of the passing of a very bright star that we were all fortunate to have illuminated our lives.
Elizabeth M. "Bee" McKnight, age 44, of Littleton, CO passed away peacefully in her sleep on Thursday, August 4, 2022. She was born on February 13, 1978 in Denver, CO, the daughter of Lyric (Andrews) and John McKnight.
She worked for a number of years in the retail industry, first at Kmart, then at King Soopers, and had most recently been self-employed in animal care and training.
Survivors include her parents; her partner, Tim Irvine; grandmother, Patricia Andrews; aunts, Grace MacGregor, Anita Piekarski and Barbara McKnight; uncle Mark Andrews, numerous cousins, as well as her beloved fur-baby, Shilo.
We invite friends to join in a "Celebration of Bee's Life" to be held at Radiant Temple, OES, 225 Acoma St. in Denver, on Saturday, September 10 at 2:00 p.m. In keeping with Elizabeth's joyful spirit, we encourage those of you who are comfortable doing so to attend in any (or many) of the beautiful colors of the wonderful world that she loved.
Please share stories and pictures with us so that we can put together a slideshow and program.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to MaxFund, to the Humane Society of the South Platte Valley, or to Metro Chapter #157, Order of the Eastern Star.
