Elizabeth L. Stamps

June 1, 1938 — July 4, 2022

Elizabeth L. Stamps, 84, of Lakewood. Died Monday morning, July 4, 2022.

She was born to the late Xavior Peter Myotte and Anna Marie Myotte, June 1,1938, in Sault Saint Marie, Michigan.
Elizabeth always worked on her ability to help others as she was always available to help with cooking and working in the tasks at church in Michigan even before we were married and doing the same here in Denver.

We met when I received assignment to Camp Lucas, Michigan following my tour in Kaiserslautern, Germany
In April of the year 1958. We had not known each other but a few days when we were walking along a sidewalk talking, we stopped and I said to her," I'm taking you home with me." She just smiled, but said nothing, so we left it there. It wasn't until January 1960 that we got married and proceeded to my home in California the place I was referring to when I had said I was taking her home with me; she accepted the task of being a military wife; I retired and settled here in Denver.
