Ella Mae Campbell, 95, of Thornton, passed away Saturday, January 11, 2020.
She was born to the late Margaret and Albert Dixon, December 23, 1924, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She was preceded in death by her husband William Dean Campbell.
Ella is survived by four children from her first husband the late Clifford Levitt: Carole Hirschfield (Don), Vicki Gallegos (Glen), Greg Levitt (Michelle), and Cindy Passard (Larry); 10 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren and countless extended family and friends.
Ella was faithful fan of the Denver Broncos and enjoyed watching them play. She was a talented pianist and singer who performed in church and many theaters. She enjoyed knitting and ceramics. She was an avid animal lover and always opened her home to strays. Her legacy will live on in the hearts and lives of her family.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made in Ella's name at any animal shelter.
A memorial service will be held on January 22, 2020 at the Newcomer East Metro Chapel. 190 Potomac Street, Aurora, CO at 11:00am with a reception to follow.
