Ella Deane Ferber

Ella Deane Ferber, born April 13, 1929, passed away June 27, 2003. Beloved wife of Lyndon for 56 years. She also leaves her step-mother Jane DeVries, Mt. Ayr, IA; children Ed(Susi), Barbara and Dan; grandchildren Vanessa (Duane), Daniel, Simone, Brian and Emily; great- grandchildren Allison, Amanda and Alexa; and siblings Evelyn(Keith) Van Sickle, Newton, IA, Margaret(Dennis) Johnson, Clarinda, IA, John(Ruth) DeVries, West Des Moines, IA, Jim DeVries, Atlanta, GA, Carla DeVries, Des Moines, IA; and numerous nieces and nephews. She and Lyndon owned and operated Ferber Service Co. for 20 years in the Denver area.
Visiting hours 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at Newcomer Family Mortuary Chapel. Funeral services Wednesday 11 a.m. at Lutheran Church of the Resurrection, 7100 W. Mississippi, Lakewood. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
