Elliott Eugene Howard, affectionately known by family as Boobie, was born on March 24, 1973 to Valeria Howard and William Coleman is Tuskegee, Alabama. He was welcomed by adoring grandparents Jimmie and Grace Howard. Elliott quickly won the affection of his family and grew into a thriving young man. Elliott's life was later enhanced when he became the stepson of Stanley Galloway in 1982 his doting stepfather and mentor.
Elliott attended several schools in the Miami area before graduating from Herndon High School in Virginia. Elliott was always a crusader for those that he felt needed a helping hand at various stations in life whether if was food or a place to stay, just like Robin Hood. Once, while his mother Valeria was packing their home to move, the neighbor came over to thank her for always helping to feed her family over the past couple of years. The irony is that Valeria had no idea that her son was feeding the neighbors from their freezer.
After high school, Elliott worked at Alamo car rental, and United Express Airways before partnering with a friend at a TV repair shop in Leensburg, Virginia. In addition, he volunteered at a homeless shelter. Family and friends knew Elliott for his humor, love of music and movies. His endearing relationship with his dog Deablo was well noted among all who knew him.
Elliott moved to Colorado in 2008 and spent these final years close to his family while battling the effects of Multiple Sclerosis. Elliott's valiant flight ended on May 31st, 2017 and his name was called to come to his final home. In addition to his loving parents, Elliott leaves to mourn his passing his brother Stanley Galloway, Jr. (JR), uncle Elliott Howard and aunts Joyce Howard and Adair Coleman. Elliott's life was also blessed with the added wisdom of his grandparents, the late Jerome and Gertrude Galloway and the late Wilie and Virgie Coleman. There is a host of other cousins, family and friends who will miss his laughter and smile.
