Elva (Bertie) Parker joined our Heavenly Father on Sunday, August 23, 2020 at her son's home surrounded by family.
Elva was born on November 22, 1934 to Charles and Margaret Clark in Denver, Colorado. She graduated West High School in 1952. She was able to retire from King Soopers at the age of 65; however, took on a part-time job with Target when she moved to the mountains to socialize and earn a little extra spending money. She worked until January of 2020.
She loved attending church services, hosting and giving bible studies, going to church and church camp, living in the mountains, taking pictures, and caring for animals. She loved spending time with family and friends, going on picnics and drives.
Bertie is survived by her four children: Sharon Sanders, Ron Parker, Robby Parker (Antoinette), Kelly Parker; sister, Mary Susuras, ten grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren (one to arrive in November 2020); and 15 nieces and nephews.
Bertie is preceded in death by sisters: Peggy Mountain, Betty Mattingly and Hazel Laursen, nephews: Bob Ball, Jimmy Susuras, and niece, Betty Mather.
