Emanuel Paul Knaus Jr. known by his nick name Bud was born in Hill City Kansas on November 6th 1932 grew up and became an automotive mechanic until 1951 when he decided to join the Army during the Korean War where he worked hard to earn the rank of Staff Seargent as he fought on the front lines running a Howitzer cannon when him and his crew were hit with an artillery shell in which he was a sole survivor, he then endured a long road of recovery and finished his tour with an honarable discharge in 1955. Moved to Denver in 1956 in which he remained until his passing. He was a hard worker and continued his trade as an industrial mechanic until 1983 where he then became a independent construction contractor which he enjoyed up until 3 years ago when he started having health problems. His hobbies included painting, model building, gardening, carpentry work, and loved fishing with his children and grand children and loved the outdoors.
