Erma Luella(Jones) Sherman

Erma Luella (Jones) Sherman passed away peacefully in her sleep on Tuesday, November 2, 2021. She was born October 15, 1943 in Atlantic, Iowa to Herbert Leroy Jones and Ella Wilhelmina (Boos) Jones.
Erma was preceded in death by her parents and brothers Frank and Robert Jones as well as one son Jeffery Cole. She was survived by her younger brother Walt as well as several nieces and nephews. She also has 6 children: Jackie Beasley, Jeary Cole, Judith (Stephen) Padilla, David Freeman, and Dustan (Tish) Freeman. She was blessed with 15 grandchildren and super blessed with 10 great grandchildren.
Erma was a CNA for several years before she became a forklift operator at Acme Distribution where she retired after 14 years. She was very involved in her church and community, volunteering at the local food bank and actively working with the homeless. She had a passion for all types of crafts and would make items and put together Christmas packages to give away to anyone in need.
