Ernest Calvo, age 92, from Lochbuie, Colorado passed away on February 3, 2022, suddenly at his home.
He was born on November 20, 1929, in Denver, Colorado. He married Mary Rebecca "Reba" Fletcher on 02/26/1955 in Raton, New Mexico, they were married for 53 years before her passing July 29, 20o6.
Ernest worked for Gates Rubber Company for over 30 years. During that time, he served in the US Army from November 25, 1950 to November 24, 1953, when he was honorably discharged. He was stationed and served in Korea.
After his service in the Army, he married Mary Rebecca "Reba" Fletcher and they were blessed with five children, Rene Lanham (deceased), Beth Opatril, Butch Calvo, Laurie Ramos and Anthony Calvo.
He is survived by his children, Beth Opatril (Ed Opatril), Butch Calvo, Laurie Ramos (Carlos Ramos) Anthony Calvo; 12 grandchildren, Adam Lanham, Jennifer Lanham, Becky Albano, Amy Lanham, Cori Mumford-McDorman, Jeremy Mumford, Joey Opatril, Kayla Calvo, Marcus Ramos, Ryan Ramos, Josh Calvo and Jessie Calvo, 18 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild. He has two surviving siblings Louis Calvo and Art Calvo and many more loving extended family members.
