Ernest William Gallegos Sr.
November 11, 1925 — November 30, 2020
Ernest W. Gallegos Sr. (Ernie), 95 of Denver died peacefully on November 30. Born November 11, 1925 the son of Emilio and Barbarita Gallegos of Berthoud, Coloardo. He married the love of his life Mary Prado of Littleton, Colorado in 1953.
Ernest worked as a terrazzo helper and tile setter until retiring. He worked at Universal tractor as a retirement job until her was 90 years old.
He would attend Southwest YMCA five days a week. He attended mass at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church.
He is survived by his son Ernest Jr., daughter Shirley Gallegos; grandsons Joshua Romero and Adrian Romero; great-grandchildren Adrianna Romero and Donavin Romero. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife and siblings.
