Ernesto "Ernie" Marquez, 54, passed away in his home on March 19th, 2024. Born on December 29th, 1969, Ernesto was always so full of life and happy to be present and in the moment from beginning to end. He touched the lives of many people along the way with his charm and friendliness.
He graduated from Fort Lupton High School and went on to have three beautiful children. He stayed very close to his brother and two sisters, who loved him so unconditionally. He was deeply saddened by the loss of his father, Rodolfo, in 2015 but found a way to move forward with the love and support of family and friends. Loving and cherishing every moment with the people in his life is what he did best, and of course, he loved his dogs and birds. He spent the last years of his life trying to be the best father he could be for his youngest son.
Ernesto is survived by his mother, Maria Marquez; three siblings, Rudy (Julie) Marquez, Dora (Brian) Martinez, and Maricella (Michael) Bulger; daughter Brianna Garcia, son Alejandro Marquez-Torres, and youngest son Bradyn Marquez. He is predeceased by his father Rodolfo Marquez. The family is holding a funeral service to celebrate Ernesto's life on April 2nd, 2024 at St. Williams Catholic Church, 1025 Fulton Avenue, Fort Lupton. Final resting place will be at Hillside Cemetery in Fort Lupton.
