Esmond Drauvon Trimble, Sr.

January 14, 1977 — January 15, 2019

Esmond DrauVon Trimble, Sr., 42, of Aurora, passed away January 15, 2019.

He was born January 14, 1977 in Compton, California, the son of father Pastor Alton Trimble, Sr. and mother Vernice Ellen Watts. He was a graduate of University High School in 1995. He attended West Los Angeles Junior College. Growing up, Esmond attended Holy Light Missionary Baptist Church. In his younger years, he would also skateboard, scuba dive and play baseball, tennis, and basketball. He also learned how to surf and loved the time that he spent at the beach.

On June 14, 2008, he married Erin Heerdt.

As an adult, he was a member of Greater Faith Christian Center in Aurora, where his father was the Pastor.

Esmond enjoyed basketball and table hockey. He was very active throughout his life and would try anything. As an adult, he will be remembered as a family man who cherished the time that he spent with his family and friends. His children were his focal point and he dedicated a lot of his time to his family. He taught his children flips on the trampoline most recently. He also knew and loved God and made sure his children had a relationship with God and taught them how to pray. He also could remodel and fix and flip houses, doing excellent work on each house. His favorite song was Atlantic Starr's "Send for Me."

Esmond is survived by his wife of 10 years, Erin Trimble; son, Esmond "E.J." Trimble, Jr.; daughter, Jordan Trimble; three brothers, Vincent Londell Hill, Alton Trimble, Jr. and Dwight (Jackie) Trimble; his father, Pastor Alton Trimble Sr.; his mother, Vernice Ellen Watts; three sisters, LaKeichia Antoinette Corney, Ronice Nicole Autry and Debra; four nieces and two nephews with whom he shared a special bond, Kentia Ellen Good, Heaven V.R. Johnson, Traesur A. Johnson and Whitney N. Hill, Jamill O. Corney and Vincent L. Hill, II; an aunt that has shared a special bond since childhood, Tracey Smith; many other aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and extended family and a host of friends.
