Eugenia Appel, 92, of Commerce City, passed away June 24, 2019.

She was born January 24, 1927 in Chelsea, Massachusetts, the daughter of Michael and Adele (Galuza) Mazeiko. On November 20, 1949 Eugenia married Donald Appel, in Bath, Maine.

Eugenia is survived by her children, Robert (Candace) Appel, Diane Carr, Daniel (Cheryl) Appel, and William Appel; six grandchildren, Dwaine (Tanya) Appel, Jason Appel, Emily Williams, Diana Appel, Amber Appel, and Alie Nieman; and seven great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Donald Robert Appel; parents, Michael James and Adele Mazeiko; two brothers, John and Walter; and son, James Michael Appel.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Eugenia's name to the American Cancer Society.
