Eumelia Maestas
Born December 28, 1913 in Golondrinas, NM; Passed away peacefully in her home March 21, 2010 in Engelewood, CO.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband Toribio J. Maestas and daughter Martha M. Madrid. Survived by loving daughters Virginia (Gene) Sandoval, Anna (Dan) Martinez and Stella (JT) Spurlock; loving son Peter Maestas and son-in-law Pat Madrid; 9 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren; numerous family members and friends. Visitation Wednesday 5-6 P.M. Rosary 6-8 P.M. both at Newcomer West Metro Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial Thursday 10 A.M. at Holy Name Catholic Church 3290 W. Milan Ave., Englewood, CO 80110. Interment to take place at Littleton Cemetery in Littleton, CO. Reception following the interment at Holy Name Catholic Church.


To Our Wonderful Mother

When we were growing up we didn't give much thought;
To such a wonderful Mother whom we all love a lot.
We all took you for granted and didn't pay much attention,
to all the love you gave us as we took it without retention.

You gave us life and love, and taught us to live right.
You taught us to be honest and to never cause a fight.
You made us go to church when we didn't want to go.
And now we are so grateful for the Lord we've gotten to know.

You've been a wonderful Mother and we wanted you to know;
That you're so appreciated and that we LOVE you so!
You've always been there for us when we needed you to be;
You helped us by talking and also monetarily.

And now it's time to pay you back for all that to us you've been;
but all we've got to give you is our LOVE from deep within.
We will always LOVE You Mother, but we think you already know
Because we try to show you, though sometimes we don't tell you so.

May GOD BLESS YOU everyday with his Love from up above;
As we celebrate this day with our undying LOVE.
