Eunice E. Young

Eunice E. Young, 93, of Commerce City, passed away peacefully on December 19, 2009, surrounded by her family, after a short illness.

Eunice was born on November 18, 1916 in Kewanee, Illinois. She worked as a Nurse in Kewanne, Illinois for many years until she retired. She married Clifford C. Young on June 25, 1939. He passed away on August 11, 1991.

Eunice is survived by one son, Kurtis K. (Janice) Young; four grandchildren; Richard (Julie) Young, Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina, Tonya (Darrin) Latimer, Thornton, Colorado, Matthew (Suzannah) Young, Rockford, Illinois and Tina (John) Carson, Thornton, Colorado; 12 great-grandchildren; two sisters; Florence Skoglund, Holland, Michigan and Esther Petersen, Toulan, Illinois; numerous nieces and nephews. Eunice was preceded in death by her husband; a son, Richard Young; daugher-in-law, Lillie Mae Young; and brother, Kenneth Young.
