Eva E. Hinkle

Eva Elyda Hinkle, 92, of Lakewood, Colorado, passed away on Monday, August 10, 2020. She was born to Charles and Pauline (Heib) Beatty on May 14, 1928 in Denver, Colorado.

Eva was raised by her mother Pauline along with her four brothers. She attended Barnum High School, before assuming full time work at Gardner Denver after the tenth grade. She helped support her family while working there for the next eight years.

Eva met and married Leroy Hinkle in 1964, while Leroy was also working at Gardner Denver. Leroy continued working there while Eva became a full time homemaker. They purchased a new home in Lakewood in 1965 where they lived until 2018.

Eva devoted herself to her brothers when she was young and to Leroy, her friends and her family throughout her entire life. She was a devout Christian and an active member of Southern Gables Evangelical Free Church in Littleton. Eva and Leroy shared a wonderful marriage for over fifty-six years and her love served as an example to all of her family and friends.

Eva is survived by her husband, Leroy Hinkle, numerous nieces, nephews and her youngest brother, Joe, as well as by many friends.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, private services will be held at a graveside ceremony at Crown Hill Cemetery, Wheat Ridge, on Friday, August 21 at 1 pm. for family and close friends.
