Evalyn Ann Christian

July 21, 1928 — December 14, 2019

Evalyn Ann Christian, 91, of Littleton, passed away December 14, 2019.

She was born July 21, 1928 in Grand Rapids, Michigan, the daughter of John and Efthimia (Kotronakis) Dukis. She was a graduate of South High School in Grand Rapids, MI High School.

On May 21, 1951, she married Robert Henry Christian, Jr.

Evalyn owned and operated many restaurants with her husband Robert in Grand Rapids for many years.

Evalyn was a member at Assumption of the Theotokos Cathedral in Denver. She was also a member of the Daughters of Penelope and Philoptochos.

Evalyn was a private pilot and enjoyed flying with her husband on many occasions throughout her life. She also enjoyed downhill skiing, cooking, gardening and baking. She was an amazing seamstress and loved to sew and design clothing. She will be so remembered for her love of shoes and always sharing a recipe.

Evalyn is survived by Three Children, Candace Ann Christian, Scott Robert (Decel) Christian and Holly Christian Pavlakis; Two Grandchildren, Emanuel George "Michael" Pavlakis and Eva Christianna Pavlakis; Three Sisters, Mary Papastafen, Angie Dolly and Christine (Jim) Dakos and many nieces, nephews, extended family, pets and friends.

She is preceded in death by Husband, Robert Henry Christian, Jr.; Son-In-law, George Emanuel Pavlakis; Father, John Dukis; Mother, Efthimia Dukis; and Two Brothers-in-Law, Art Papastafen and Frank Dolly.

Contributions may be made in Evalyn's name to Assumption of the Theotokos Cathedral.
