Evelyn Brown

Mrs. Evelyn Brown was born on September 16th, 1935 in Chicago, Illinois, the third of seven beautiful daughters, to Mr Barissa and Mrs Arthemise Brooks, and she peacefully went to sleep in Jesus on September 28th, 2022.

Mrs. Evelyn married Mr. Lorenzo Brown, Jr. on November 4th 1956 and was married for 2 months shy of 66 years.
To this union, was born 11 children.

Mrs. Evelyn desired a big family. She wanted 9 children. She called the additional two children her "Little Bonuses"!

Mrs. Evelyn is survived by her Husband of 65 yrs & 10 months - Mr Lorenzo Brown, Jr, oldest sister Brenetta Howell Barrett, children Anthony, Lettina (K.E.), Carla (Alan), Raphael, Roderick, Deneen (Tosh), Cherise, Gabriel (Erica), Nathaniel. Adopted children, Betty McCloud Phillips, Frank McCloud, Andrew McCloud. Grandchildren Kendra, Mykah Calicia, Lettaryl, Joshua, Jared Tairyce, Jacien, Isaiah, Treschan, Dominic, & Caelah, adopted grandchildren Antoine McCloud, Antoinette & Orrel Joilvette, 18 great-grandchildren one great grand, two adopted great grands, several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in sleep by her Mom and Dad, her daughter Lori, her son Timothy, her grandson Lucas, five sisters Mary, Michelle, Lucille, Emelda, and Yvonne.

Mrs. Evelyn Brown will be remembered as a most Extraordinary Wife, Phenomenal Mother, One of a Kind Friend and a True Example of the Love and Forgiveness of God in this Earth!
