F. Austin Higgins, 84 of Denver, Colorado passed away on Tuesday, July 13, 2010. He is survived by his loving wife, Evelyn; children: Cindy (John) Jameson, Austin, (Elaine) Higgins,Jr. and Carl (Kim) Higgins; stepchildren, Mildred (Paul) Hulkovich and Jim (Connie) Freemyer; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, family and friends. Preceded in death in 1988 by his former wife, Idella.
Viewing is on Tuesday, July 20, 2010 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM; a Rosary to follow at 7:00 PM, both at Newcomer Funeral Home - West Metro Chapel, 901 S. Sheridan Blvd., Lakewood, Colorado 80227. A Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, July 21, 2010 at 10:00 AM at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 7595 Federal Blvd., Wesminster, Colorado 80033 with the Knights of Columbus Honor Guard present. Interment to follow at Crown Hill Cemetery, 7777 W. 29th Ave., Wheat Ridge, Colorado 80033.
