He was a devoted husband to his wife Yvonne. They were to celebrate their 48th wedding anniversary on June 15.
He dearly loved his family and was very happy when his son Frank joined Greyhound and they worked together. He was proud of his son Jim's chosen profession and kept a picture of him in his uniform beside his bed and in his wallet. He was never happier than when his son Jeff graduated with honors from aviation training and received his A & P License. He always supported his daughter, Leslie, in her quest to work in untraditional jobs. He even relented and taught her how to drive her truck with a 20ft camping trailer attached. He doted on all his grandchildren and then loved to see their children. He had 5 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren and another one on the way.
