Faith L. Sherman

Faith passed away November 29, 2009.

She was born in 1925 on a small farm near Penokee, Kansas.

She was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Hershel Sherman, with whom she spent 64 wonderful years.

Faith is survived by her beloved children, Patty Jay, Larry (Linda) Sherman and Mona (Quincy) Pent, and grandchildren, Wendy (David) Peters, Shane King, Natha (Wister) Lide and Dawn MacArthur. She is also survived by siblings Marjorie, Dan, Dale, several nieces and nephews and five of the most precious great grandchildren.

Faith and Sherman spent over 22 years living in Kino Bay, Mexico fishing and loving life. She always claimed that she caught the biggest fish but "Sherman" caught the most. Faith was a lover of the simple things in life such as her loving family and friends. We will remember her most by her quick wit and sense of humor!

A celebration of her life will be on Thursday, December 3, 2009 at 10:30am at Newcomer Funeral Home - West Metro Chapel, at 901 So. Sheridan Blvd, Lakewood, CO 80226, followed by graveside services at Ft. Logan Cemetery at 12:30pm. The family wants to extend an invitation to friends and family to join them after services at Rosemary Cafe located at 2133 S. Sheridan Blvd. Denver, Co 80227.
