Fernando P. Valenciano was born August 16, 1931 in Beeville, Texas to Inez and Antonio Valenciano. Fernando is survived by his wife Leonor and six children. Grandfather of six and Great-Grandfather of nine. Fernando was a very generous and loving man who gave respect to all that crossed his path.
Fernando enlisted in the Army on January 1, 1951; served in Germany during the Korean War and adored his country. In 1957, he moved to Colorado and began working for the Civil Service at Lowry and Rocky Mountain Arsenal and thereafter, worked as a heavy equipment operator for 30 plus years until his retirement.
Fernando had an uncanny ability to draw people to him and all who knew Fernando loved and respected him dearly. Fernando was very proud of his family and took pleasure in the daily visits with his children, grand-children, and great grand-children.
Fernando had a great sense of humor, was always happy, and worked very hard to provide for his family. He enjoyed fishing, going to Rockies baseball games, and his annual hunting trips with his son.
Fernando will be missed dearly but his memory will be treasured for lifetimes to come.
