Flora M. Lopez

Flora Marie Lopez age 91 passed away January 15 2019. She was the daughter of the late Louisa Martinez and Jose Serapio Lopez. Flora was born September 13th 1927 in Trinidad Colorado. She moved to Denver in 1953 with her late husband Lee Lopez she is survived by her half-brother Tony Rael (Carol) and her children Mary, Gabriel Lopez, Billie Jean Guerrero (Ravi), Leonard Lopez (Melissa), Sandra Sanchez, and granddaughter Alaya Vigil. She has 19 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren, and 8 great-great-grandchildren she is preceded in death by husband Lee Lopez, her sister Ida Lopez, her son John Lopez, her daughter Norma Lopez, half brother Garfield Richard Rael, Ebony Lucero, Leon Santiago and Richard Reyes. She and Lee opened The LaMixteca restaurant in 1976. It was successful for 20 years. They retired happily and healthy. She enjoyed making dream catchers, crocheting, and spending time with her family. We will always carry her memory and in our hearts. Flora was a very special lady with a very strong heart.
