Flora E. Mansanarez, a cherished soul who touched the hearts of many, peacefully passed away on November 6 2024, in Denver, Colorado. Born on January 5, 1930, in Questa, New Mexico, Flora grew up as a farm girl, learning the values of hard work and dedication that shape her life.
Flora was known for her sweet and caring nature, embodying the heart of a servant. She approached life with humility and a touch of stubbornness that made her all the more endearing. Her energetic spirit radiated warmth and kindness to everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her. For decades, she devoted herself to teaching Sunday school to young children, instilling in them the same love and faith that guided her throughout her life. Her huge faith in the Lord was indeed the cornerstone of her existence, and she was widely recognized as a prayer warrior, always lifting others in prayer and support.
Those who were fortunate enough to share moments with Flora will fondly remember her love for cooking and her remarkable embroidery skills. She found joy in simple pleasures—whether it was going on long walks, enjoying picnics under the sun, or pulling weeds in her garden. These moments, filled with laughter and love, will remain etched in the hearts of her family and friends.
Flora’s family meant the world to her. She is survived by her beloved son Eric and her grandchildren Sierra (Richard) and Devin, who carry forward her legacy of kindness and strength. Their memories of her, from shared meals to treasured family gatherings, will forever resonate in their lives.
She is now reunited with her late husband, Alex, and her loving parents, along with five siblings who preceded her in death. Flora's passing leaves a profound void in all who knew her, but her spirit will continue to shine through the love she shared and the lives she touched.
Surrounded by loved ones during her final moments—a house full of people—Flora departed this world as she had lived, enveloped in love. She will be deeply missed but lovingly remembered by all.
