Florence Mabel George

Florence Mabel George, 85, of Aurora, passed away October 15, 2018.

Florence was born May 6, 1933 in Newfoundland, Canada, The daughter of Harvey and Violet Thomas. She completed 9th grade from school of Wales in Newfoundland Canada.

Florence had a passion for meeting people, spending time with her Family, she enjoyed music, cooking, shopping, and movies. Florence married Julian Cook in June 1953 of Little Rock, Arkansas, and had two children: daughter, Catherine Elliott of Golden, Colorado and son, Julian Cook of Denver, Colorado.

In October 13, 1958, Florence married William George of Little Rock, Arkansas, and they had three children: daughter, Deborah Scherlong of Westminster, Colorado, son William George Jr. of Denver, Colorado, and daughter Susan George of Aurora, Colorado.

Florence was blessed with four grandchildren: Crystal Fox, Heather Sosias, Robert Scherlong, and Daniel Scherlong; and four great grand children: Gregory Darlington, Landon Darlington, Autumn Newton, and Gabriel Sosias.
