Floyd Gregory Farmer

Floyd Gregory Farmer was called home to be with his Heavenly Father on Nov. 3, 2007. Born, June 3, 1932 in Grand Junction, Iowa. He was a loving and devoted husband to his wife Ina of 51 yrs. His pride and Joy were his 4 children, Greg Farmer (Nancy), Jodi Graham (Ron), Trudi Wynkoop (Kent) and Karla Mohrmann (Jeff), and his 11 grandchildren. Some of his happiest times were with his family and friends, as well as traveling with his wife and enjoying the outdoors. During his lifetime, he proudly served in the U.S. Air Force. His tours of duty included the Korean War and Ent Air Force base in Colorado Springs, once discharged, he settled in Colorado, and raised his family in Grand Junction. For the last 24 yrs., he and Ina have lived in Aurora, where he faithfully served his Lord and Savior at Mississippi Ave Baptist Church. He is also survived by his sisters: Nina Mount, Mildred Black, and brother Clyde Farmer. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mississippi Ave. Baptist Church, Floyd Farmer Memorial Fund.
