Frances Alice Flint, 93, died the morning of April 22, 2024. She was born to the late Senior and Alice Mills on February 10th, 1931, in Brandon, Colorado, where she was raised along with her 13 brothers and sisters, who often referred to her by her nickname Tawna. She married Richard Henry Flint on May 29, 1951, in Lamar, Colorado, and the two shared over 60 years of marriage supporting their family together in Denver, Colorado.
Frances and Richard had two daughters, Deborah Kay and Zella Elaine Flint. Richard and Deborah both preceded Frances in death, but she is survived by her daughter Elaine and Deborah's husband Bruce McGinnis, and by her grandchildren Jon Holmes and Leorah McGinnis.
Frances graduated from Lamar High School in May 1949 and worked in the cafeteria of Clayton Elementary in Thornton, eventually becoming a manager before retiring in May of 1986. Throughout her life the Lord was always with her, and her devotion and study of the bible was her constant comfort.
A memorial service for Frances will be held at 3:30 pm on Friday, May 3, 2024 at Green Mountain Christian Church at 10700 W. Exposition Drive, Lakewood, CO 80226. All of Frances' friends and family are invited to attend and remember the love and support that Frances gave to everyone around her.
