Frances Jeanette Wroble

1928-2024

Frances Jeanette Wroble passed away peacefully at the age of 95 on Monday, January 8, 2024 in loving care at MorningStar Assisted Living & Memory Care of Littleton, Colorado. Frances was born to Ralph C. Haley and Mary Fern Haley on December 10, 1928 in Pueblo, Colorado. She lived in Denver until three years old and then moved to Deadwood, South Dakota. At age 10 she moved with her parents and three siblings to Casper, Wyoming where she lived most of her life. She worked on her family's chicken farm raising chickens to sell to stores and restaurants and to stock's Haley's Farm Market. She attended McKinley Elementary, and Natrona County High School graduating in 1946. After graduation she worked in the office of the Casper Linen Supply and she soon married Lloyd Kneller and they had a daughter Karen. From 1962-1971 she worked at Boatright Smith/Mobile Concrete as a bookkeeper. In December of 1970 having been divorced she married Windle Arms and moved to Denver, Colorado where she was office manager for Trujillo Drywall Company in Englewood, Colorado until 1980, being widowed moved back to Casper to become office manager for Commercial Building Systems until retiring in May 1993.

While attending her 40th class reunion she became reacquainted with classmate "John" Jack Wroble. They were married that fall and lived happily in Casper. Jack sadly passed away in 2008. In 2015 her daughter Karen transitioned her to Littleton, CO to be close to immediate family.

Fran was an ambitious, busy woman. She enjoyed landscaping, remodeling, painting, crocheting, crafts, sewing, flowers, and their dogs Echo and Lizzy. In fact, at the age of 85 you could still find her bravely climbing onto the house roof to fix the swamp cooler, (waving to the neighbors) and climbing ladders to prune dead branches from the backyard trees. Fran was a social butterfly. She enjoyed daily walks, playing cards, working puzzles, bowling, Big Band music, Andy Williams, and "creative decorating".

Fran was preceded in death by husbands Lloyd Kneller, Max Marsh, Windle Arms, and "John" Jack Wroble. Also preceded in death by parents Ralph and Mary Fern Haley, siblings Mary Gills, Bob Haley, Pat Jourgensen, granddaughter Kalia Brown Thompson, nephew Gary Jourgensen.

She is survived by daughter Karen Kneller Christensen (Littleton, Colorado), granddaughter Kristi Brown Steele (Gabe), and great grandson Zane Steele all of Golden, CO. Also, nieces; and nephews: Sharlyn Bounous, Scott and Brett Haley, Janell Sherlock, and Todd Jourgensen. Step Children: Fred, Jerre, Jody Idzerda, Janice and James Wroble

She humbly declined a service. Her ashes will be interred beside her family and late husband at a later date at Wyoming Memorial Gardens in Casper, Wy.

In lieu of flowers she would have liked memorials sent to the Central Wyoming Hospice or the Casper Humane Society
