Frankie Romero

January 4, 1953 — January 17, 2024

Frankie Kiko Romero 71 of Denver Colorado went to be with the Lord on 1/17/2024. Kiko is preceded in death by parents Mary and Frank Romero and sister Nickie. Surviving siblings are Lino, Helen, Angie, Rozanne (Randy), Suzanne (Glenn) and Ricardo.
Kiko joined the Army in 1971 and was a proud paratrooper of the 82nd Airborne Division. He completed mechanics school and loved working on vehicles. He worked various jobs before joining the City and County of Denver and making a dream come true by joining the Denver Sheriff's Department in 2005 and retired from the department in 2015. He had gained so many friends along the way.

Kiko was a loving son, loving husband to his wife LouAnn, loving father to his kids Renee (Antonio), Daniel, Elena, Chris (Kenzee) and Anthony (Shantel). He absolutely shined brightest with his grandkids Antonia, Joshua, Mila, Bella, Mia and Baby Romero due to arrive in the summer. He was also a father and grandfather figure to numerous others; friends of our immediate family and our extended family, neighbors, and the extended community. He loved to work on cars, loved the Denver Broncos and Nuggets. He really loved to help people. He never met a stranger, he talked to and befriended anyone and everyone he met. Everyone that has met him has a similar story to tell of his genuine love, positivity, and humor. He loved all types of music. He loved to dance and entertain people with jokes and the best stories.

There was no one like Kiko and we will miss you every moment of our lives. Until we meet again, your precious love, all the beautiful special memories we have of you, and your strong happy spirit will live on in our hearts forever. Thank you for everything and for being the ONE in our lives.
