Born January 10th 1922 to John and Elizabeth Rink in North Dakota. Among Fred's many accomplishments was service in the United States Navy, He attended The University of New Mexico and MIT. He joined senior partner Al Swanson in 1953, to form Swanson Rink Inc. Fred has continued to work as Design
Principle at Swanson Rink until his death April 23rd,2006.
Fred is survived by loving wife Jerry Rink, his sister Erna Davenberg of Salt Lake City Ut. Brothers John(Joanne) Rink of Northhome MN. Ray (Beverly) Rink of
Alberta Canada and several nieces and nephews.
Fred was preceded in death by his daughter Barbara Ann. He is survived by children John (Janis) Rink of Clifton New York, Sara (Vince) Porch of Lakewood. Jeff Rink of Denver and Chris (Athena) Rink of Denver. Stepchildren Phylis Hickman (Frank Gutierrez) Denver. Tamaras (Jerry) Dortch of Castle Rock Jerry (Gene)Burke of Parker.
Also survived by grandchildren Jaclyn and Johnny Rink of NY. Luke and Anna Spears of Lakewood. Mia, Jeremy and Callie Dortch and Elisabeth and Robert Burke.
Fred was a multitalented person whose compassion and wisdom was beyond our times. He was successful in his business and in his life and will be dearly missed by all.
Memorial Services will be at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday May 2 at Holy Shepherd Lutheran Church, 920 Kipling Street.
