Frederick F. Ours, 76 of Aurora, CO passed away Wednesday, August 4, 2021. He passed only six days after receiving a terminal cancer diagnosis.
He was born to the late Eleanor and John Ours on November 14, 1944. He graduated from Red Rocks Community College in 1975. He married Donna Tripp in 1970 and they lived together in Denver and Aurora, Colorado for 51 and a half years. He served in the U.S. Navy for 4 and a half years.
Fred was a Salesman until he retired in 2010. He worked in Automotive Sales for 15 years prior to retirement.
Fred was an active member of Calvary Church of Aurora, Aurora Citizens Police Academy and volunteer at North Middle School in Aurora. He loved his volunteer work, especially with children.
Fred is survived by his wife Donna; his son, Matthew of Naperville, IL and his match of 28 years in Big Brothers, Bralan Every (his bonus son of Aurora); he is also survived by grandchildren, Easton, Bella, Grace Ours of Naperville, IL; and numerous nephews, nieces and a multitude of friends.
