Gail Morse

Gail Beck Morse, 86 years of age, passed away November 1, 2022 in Denver, Colorado. Gail, was born in Otto, Wyoming June 10, 1936, moving with her family at the age of 10 to Basin, Wyoming in 1946.
Gail attended schools in Basin, graduating from Basin High School, class of 1954. She spent a brief period of time after graduation working in Oakland, California. Returning to Wyoming, she worked as a waitress at cafes and restaurants in Basin and Worland Wyoming. In 1959, she moved to Denver, Colorado, and was employed at the Writers' Manor of Denver, in the hospitality industry, She retired in 1991 as a manager supervisor after 32 years of employment. She met her life partner, Billy Bob Morse, in Denver in 1960. He preceded her in death in July of 1993.
Gail is survived by her two children Valerie Jo Morse and Jesse ( Kari) Lee Morse. She is also survived by her brother, John Beck ( Kathy) of Gallup, New Mexico, and her Sister-in-law, Pati Beck of Santa Clara, Utah, as well as four grandchildren, Jessica, Billy Bob, Wyatt, and Sammie. Another grandson, Drake Morse, the son of Valerie Jo, preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death were her parents, Jesse and Josephine (Jo) Beck, and her brothers, Cart and Dennis Beck.
Gail was an avid Denver Broncos fan, and loved following the other Denver area sports teams as well. She loved her dogs, especially the Boxers and particularly her beloved Sheltie, Missy.
No services are scheduled at this time. Cremation has taken place and a memorial and gathering of family and friends will be planned for at a future time and date and place, to be determined. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to the Denver Animal Shelter or other local animal shelter.
