Gary Kent Allen

Gary Kent Allen transitioned from his earthly life on April 14, 2021. He was born on March 12, 1939, he was 82 years old. He was born the son of Ross and Lavina Allen.

He is survived by his brothers, Gene 'Pete" (Ginger), of Topeka, KS. His brother Bruce (Lois) of Longmont, CO. His wife Sue of Littleton, daughter Jill Olsen Polichio (Andy), son Jason of Denver and Granddaughters Ellie and Abby Olsen, also of Littleton. Also, a sister-in-law Nancy (Gary) Carter of Tucson, Arizona and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, sister-in-law Sharon (Lloyd) MaGee & nephew, Chris Nail.

Gary graduated from High School in 1957 and attended airline school in Kansas City. He went to work for Western Airlines in LA and soon transferred to Denver and worked for TWA for 28 years. He retired in 2000. For 7years he worked for the Department of Defense as an accountant. He and Sue spent their next years going between Arizona and Grand Lake. In 2010 they moved back to Colorado to watch their granddaughters grow up. Gary was an avid skier, golfer, traveler and had a love of aircraft and flight! He had 3 holes in one!
