Gavino M. Mendoza , 76, of Denver, passed away September 14, 2017.
He was born February 19, 1941 in Denver, Colorado, the son of Thomas and Helen Mendoza.
Gavino is survived by his two daughters, Nina Mendoza, Nancy Salas; six sisters, Adriana T. Elenbaas, Lucy Manzanares, Susan Marquez, Josephine Romero, Christine Brookerson, Juanita West and brother, Thomas Mendoza. Grandchildren; Thomas Mendoza, Joshua Mendoza, Jacob Mendoza, Mario Mendoza, Cristina Mendoza, Charlie Munoz and Angelica Munoz. He is preceded in death by his father, Thomas G. Mendoza and mother, Helen Martinez. Also preceded in death by his sons; Thomas Mendoza and Bonifacio Mendoza and his siblings; Everett Mendoza, Mary Juarez, Bonifacio Mendoza, Halen Schroeder and Pedro Mendoza.
Memorial contributions may be made to The American Cancer Society.
Viewing has been scheduled for Monday, September 18th, 2017 from 6-8pm at Newcomer Funeral Home West Chapel 901 S. Sheridan Blvd. Lakewood, Colorado 80226.
Service are pending at Holy Ghost Catholic Church
