Gene Lynn Nielsen, 89, of Aurora, passed away December 12, 2019.
He was born June 23, 1930 in Creighton, Nebraska, the son of Fredrick and Myrtle (Johnson) Nielsen. He was a graduate of Scottsbluff High School in Nebraska. On October 22, 1950 he married Shirley Fullerton, of Morrill, Nebraska.
Gene is survived by his children, Philip Nielsen, Bryan (Lee Ann) Nielsen, Phyllis Nielsen, and Barbara Nielsen; nine grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Shirley, brother Fredrick, sister Mildred Hardin, and sister Luella Lucke.
