Of Aurora, formerly of Leadville, Colorado passed away January 24, 2007. Georgetta was probably born in Kansas on August 25, 1921. Her father was George Beers. She moved to Leadville with her father about 1930. She fondly remembers as a young girl meeting and helping Baby Doe Tabor. She worked as a ranch hand near Leadville until she moved to Denver sometime around 1958. She is survived by two sons Jim Holitza of Broomfield and David Beers, and daughter Annette Bishop of Sterling, Colorado. Private memorial held. Memorial donations can be made to Catholic Charities, 1468 Iola Street, Aurora, CO 80010.
