In Loving Memory of Gerald (Jerry) Henry Fallert
Gerald (Jerry) Henry Fallert, born on June 1st, 1931, peacefully departed this world on January 2nd, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. He is now reunited in Heaven with his beloved wife, Ruth, and is preceded in death by his father, Walter C. Fallert, mother, Ulga M. Buxell, and five siblings.
Jerry is survived by his children, Dayne (Rory), Bill (Donna), Mitch (Kathy), and Laura (Paul) Robison, as well as his nine grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, his sister Maryann Uhles of Missouri and brother-in-law Bradley Ray of Tennessee. His spirit lives on through the generations he touched.
A man of many talents and passions, Jerry was known for his entrepreneurial spirit, building a foundation that inspired and guided his family. His love for model airplanes soared through the years, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of those who shared in his enthusiasm. Always ahead of the curve, Jerry had a penchant for embracing the newest gadgets and technology, fostering a curiosity that kept him young at heart.
Beyond his hobbies, Jerry instilled a wickedly competitive streak in his family, teaching them the value of resilience and determination. A devoted family man, Korean War Veteran, pro-bowler, chess wizard, Christmas music enthusiast, and author, Jerry wore many hats with grace and love.
His warmth and kindness extended far beyond his immediate family, creating a ripple effect of love and support throughout his community. Jerry proudly participated in a babysitting business guiding young children, coached the local high school chess club, and organized the senior bowling league.
Jerry will be remembered for his infectious smile, unwavering love, and the countless memories created with those he held dear. In celebrating Jerry's life, let us reflect on the legacy of a remarkable man who touched the lives of many. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten, living on in the hearts and cherished memories of those fortunate enough to have known him.
