Geraldine Joyce "Gerri" Quintana, of Westminster. Entered into this life November 20, 1940. Entered into Eternal Life December 16, 2008.
Beloved wife of Deacon Lloyd Quintana. Mother of Nicole (Tomas) Retana, Sherri Rhodes, Marty (Jerry) Quintana, and Cindy (Federico) Pena. Sister of Kathy & Jim Lucero. Grandmother of Pilar "Petey" Velasquez, Melissa Rivera, Beau and Trae Quintana, Evan Quintana-McBride, Eric Rhodes and Carlos Roybal. Great-grandmother of Shayna, David, Elias and Baby Aaron. Preceded in death by parents Josie and Ted Lonteen, sister and brother, Charlene and German Martinez and grandson Aaron Rivera. Gerri celebrated her life daily with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members and truly wonderful friends.
She was an active member of Cursillo, Kairos Prison Ministries and Our Lady of Visitation Church. Gerri volunteered for many years at PSL Bone Marrow Transplant Unit.
Viewing, Saturday from 9:00AM to 10:00 AM; Recitation of the Rosary, Saturday 10:00AM, followed by Mass of Christian Burial, Saturday 10:30AM, all held at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 7595 Federal Blvd., Westminster, CO. Very Rev. John Hilton, V. F., Celebrant. Interment, Highland Cemetery, Thornton, CO.
Pallbearers will be Jim Lucero, Jr., Donald Martinez, Beau Quintana, Trae Quintana, Eric Rhodes and Carlos Roybal.
