Ms. Geraldine Williams, 72, of Aurora, Colorado transitioned from her earthly body to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 3, 2024, at Forest Street Compassionate Care Center, Denver, Colorado. The Bible says to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord (2 Corinthians 5:6).
Ms. Geraldine was born to the union of the late Roosevelt and Claudine Powell on September 15, 1951, in Denver Colorado. She was the fourth of eight children. After graduating from Manual High School, she attended Metro State University and later married the late Anthony Williams. From that union, Anthony L. Williams was born.
Ms. Geraldine worked for the Aurora Public School District for over 10 years. She loved to travel and highly esteemed family social gatherings. She was a member of In HIS Presence Christian Center.
She is survived by one son Anthony (man-man) Williams of Colorado, sisters Rosetta Watkins-White, Aurora, Colorado, Naomi (Rev. Gary) Turks, Denver, Colorado and a host of nephews, nieces' other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents Roosevelt and Claudine Powell, two brothers Roosevelt Powell Jr. and Robert E. Bunting, sister Ruth Williams, and twin sisters Claudine (Tommy) Biggins and Agnes (Charles) Kuykendall.
Ms. Geraldine is deeply loved by both her spiritual church family and physical family. She will be sorely missed by all those who knew her.
