Gloria Jean Chisholm, 61, of Denver Colorado, died Saturday November 17th.
She was born to the late Donald and Geraldine Chambers of Vrain St. at Saint Anthony's hospital on August 25, 1957. She attended Abraham Lincoln High School in Denver.
Gloria worked as a house keeper and bartender, among other professions. She was dearly loved among friends and family and was known to care for so many in their time of need. Gloria was a very kind hearted and outspoken strong women, she would call things as she saw them and her presence would always be known. She leaves us all broken-hearted with her early departure.
Gloria is survived by two children, Autum Dawn Archuleta (Rob Draper) of Littleton and Joe Ezekiel Archuleta (Michelle Archuleta) of Littleton and five siblings, Sandy Caldwell of Lakewood, Connie Dowling of Nevada, Donald Chambers Jr. of Denver, Russel Chambers of Denver and Darren Chambers of Denver. She is also survived by four grandchildren, Cierra Jade Archuleta, Nathan Andrew-Guy Hashman, Taya Fay Archuleta and Joseph Rilye Archuleta.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Geraldine Chambers; brothers, Terrance Chambers, Kenny Chambers and sister, Connie Louderback.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to Joe Archuleta.
A viewing will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday. November 23rd. Services will be held at Newcomer Funeral home Saturday November 24th at 11:00 am. A reception will follow the service at the funeral home - please bring a dish to share.
