Gloria P. Valdez, 64, of Denver, Co., entered into heaven April 15, 2010 after a battle with cancer.
Gloria was born in Denver, Colo on January 29, 1946. She attended school in Denver and eventually graduated from Manuel High School. She went on to become a Hairdresser and worked for 37 years in the industry for Joslins, Foleys and Dillards, where she earned an award for Top Hairstylist. She was deeply loved by many of her long standing clients. Gloria spent many happy days traveling with her family to Hawaii, and going on cruises and numerous vacations. Although her life was cut short she spent many happy times with her family, she was most happy when she spent time with her grandchildren, her greatest joy was giving to them.
Gloria was pre-deceased by her husband, Jerry Valdez and her loving son Dominic M. Marin. She is survived by one son, Manuel R. Marin, sister, Barbara Quezada Mora and Brother Gino Villalovas (Liz). Gloria is also survived by 8 loving grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She will be sadly missed by all of her family and friends.
